When Will My Baby Sit Up By Herself?

I was just wondering when my six month old daughter will be able to sit up on her own, without using her arms to hold herself up? Or leaning to one side or another and almost tumbling over?

i wouldnt rush it!! LOL.... give her a cpl more monthes,shes got to find her balance.. ever baby is different,, just be glad shes not on the prowl yet, cause once she starts the independence shes gone!!! LOL

any time between 5-9 months is normal. if shes even trying to sit up on her own thats good, she should be sitting soon. my older one learned at 5 months, but my younger one didnt even try until she was over 7 months.
